We are seeking candidates with great attention to detail and good dexterity to join our highly skilled small team as the position of spray painter & finisher. A key position, you will finish the company products giving them that ‘wow’ factor our clients have come to expect. Job Specification
- Dismantling trial assembled components (Bolted construction).
- Clean and prepare surfaces for paint.
- Spray apply paint to correct thickness etc…
Safely disposing of chemical waste. - Ensuring that high safety standards are met.
- Utilizing different painting techniques based on the nature of the surface.
- Utilizing special safety equipment and air fed visors.
- Using viscosity cups and thickness gauges to measure the amount of paint to be used and the texture of the paint.
- Painting small items and doing touch-ups.
Ensuring proper ventilation after the paint is applied. - Final assembly of company products, bolting and aligning components.
- Cutting / shaping of such items a conveyor skirting.
- Palletizing and packing goods for shipment.
- Ordering and controlling stocks of paint and painting equipment.
- Other duties as required, within your capabilities
Personnel Requirements
- Experience painting a variety of surface types, additional company training will be provided.
- Experience of machine assembly.
- Proficiency with technical machinery.
- Team player, expected to work closely and along with our current workforce.
- Fork lift experience (not essential)
Physical strength to operate machinery. - Energetic, diligent with good attention to detail.
- Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Good organizational skills.
- Good verbal communication.
