Job description
We are seeking Industrial painter candidates with great attention to detail and good dexterity to join our small highly skilled team as the position of spray painter & finisher. A key position, with the potential to grow the role into a management position, you will finish the company products giving them that ‘wow’ factor our clients have come to expect. Job Specification
- Dismantling trial assembled components (Bolted construction).
- Clean and prepare surfaces for paint.
- Spray apply paint to correct thickness etc…
- Ensuring that high safety standards are met.
- Manual handling will be required so applicants should be considered suitable for this role.
- Utilizing different painting techniques based on the nature of the surface.
- Utilizing special safety equipment and air fed visors.
- Painting small items and doing touch-ups.
- Ensuring proper ventilation after the paint is applied.
- Final assembly of company products, bolting and aligning components.
- Cutting / shaping of such items a conveyor skirting.
- Palletizing and packing goods for shipment.
- Ordering and controlling stocks of paint and painting equipment.
- Other duties as required, within your capabilities
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: Very competitive subject to applicants experience and ability. Bonus system.
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday (40hrs)
- Overtime
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Thirsk, YO7 4RX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent but not essential for the right applicant.
Experience:
- Painting: 2 years preferred but not essential for the right applicant.
Language:
- English (required)

- Driving Licence (required)
