General Labourer

Crushing & Screening Ltd are a family business and due to our prospective workload, we are now seeking a motivated Labourer to help with jobs on and around the company. Duties of the Labourer include helping move and collect materials, set up tools and help with general fabrication work. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, punctual, ready to help and learn.
If you have some previous experience of fabrication, assembly or painting work, we would like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Labourer will be ready to help where there is a need and able to learn new skills that will later help to expand your work.
You will know how important safety is, for yourself and others.
You must have the right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities:
Forklift operation (training will be provided).
Helps with different types of jobs on and around the site.
Pre painting preparation and fettling.
Assembly of new build equipment.
General workshop tidying and maintenance duties.
Requirements:
Some Fabrication experience beneficial but not critical.
Familiar with hand tools used in a fabrication and assembly processes.
Able to collaborate and work within a small team.
A full and clean driving license.

Hours of work are, Days – Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 6:00pm. 40 hours per week. Fridays can be worked as overtime when available.
Half hour lunch plus two quarter hour breaks during the day (unpaid)
Timekeeping Bonus
21days holiday (plus bank holidays)
3% employer pension contribution
Overtime paid at x1.5
